Beer Garden Taking Shape at Highland Creek
The latest amenity for the Highland Creek Beer Garden arrived at the course yesterday! Our brand new Wood Fired Pizza Oven Concession Trailer is a game changer and we plan to put it in service as soon as we get through the inspection process.
This was a special event for the Ratcliffe and Taylor families (owners of Highland Creek) as the delivery took place on May 25, which was Velma Ratcliffe’s birthday. Those of you who know the history of the Ratcliffe’s and Highland Creek understand that there is a special meaning in our connections to this outstanding property.
Highland Creek has gone through periods where it was not known for great conditioning nor as a social hub for the community of Highland Creek, but the new ownership group is making great strides in improving the course and engaging with the neighborhood. This new food trailer is just one of those improvements.
Once in service, it will offer fresh baked pizzas in an authentic wood fired pizza oven, eight different beers on tap and a host of other food and beverage options all under the guidance of our (also new!) Executive Chef Mike Leone.
